Altegris Investments Announces New Director of Hedge Fund Research
Altegris Investments is pleased to announce that Michael Ding has joined the firm as Director of Hedge Fund Research. Mr. Ding is responsible for reviewing and evaluating existing and prospective hedge funds for addition to the Altegris platform.
La Jolla, CA (PRWEB) July 6, 2006 –– Altegris Investments Inc. is pleased to announce that Michael Ding has joined the firm as the Director of Hedge Fund Research. Mr. Ding was previously Vice President, Research and Investment Management, for Abria Alternative Investments, Inc. in Toronto, Canada, where he worked since June of 2003. Prior to this, he was a Senior Investment Analyst in Alternative Investments for the National Bank of Canada, and a Hedge Fund Research Analyst for the Northern Trust Company, in addition to several financial analyst roles.
Mr. Ding is responsible for performing ongoing monitoring of the existing Altegris platform of investment products and managers, as well as reviewing and evaluating hedge funds for addition to the Altegris platform.

Mr. Ding graduated from McGill University with a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance. He previously graduated from The Maritime University of China with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois), a Certified General Accountant (Ontario, Canada), a CFA Charter Holder and a Registered Advisory Representative with the Ontario Security Commission.
