Orlando, FL (PRWEB) July 2, 2006 -- Jeff Kaehr, president of 3D Underwater Graphics, Inc. (3D UG) announced that the Company has been awarded a Utility Patent. The patent covers the firms proprietary swimming pool art program implementing 3D goggles, 3-D poster art, specialized ink transfer, plastic stabilization and water resistant adhesion technology. “We have spent many years and thousands of dollars over and above the normal patent fees in order to convince the USPTO that 3-D UG is unique, this is a great result for us”, said Mr. Kaehr.
3-D UG will offer for sale later in 2006 a series of nautically based artisan pool posters. The posters will adhere to the smooth sides of swimming pools, under water, and be visible when viewed through 3-D glasses. Technology to protect the posters from pool chemicals, UV rays and to maintain solid adherence is being perfected in conjunction with engineering at Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (MMM).
“We are thrilled at the USPTO issuing the Utility Patent and the technology hurdles we have overcome”, said Geoff Ficke, President of Duquesa Marketing, Altamonte Springs, Fl. “The ability to colorfully and whimsically add art touches to swim pool walls will be a major outdoor design coup. 3-D UG has the unique potential to decorate every pool with fun art, corporate branding or licensed affinity logo’s”.
Duquesa Marketing has been retained by 3-D UG to act as managing consultants for all aspects of product development, sales and marketing for the project. Presentations to national retailers are planned for Fall 2006.
