Transforming Your Relationship with Food Through Myth and Storytelling
Psychologist, author and eating disorder clinic founder Anita Johnston, Ph.D., tells listeners to Full Power Living, Internet radio program hosted by Ilene Dillon (Thursday, July 27, 2006, 9 a.m. PT) how to transform their relationship with food through myth and storytelling.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 4, 2006 -- Dr. Anita Johnston says "a woman's song is her truth. The expression of her innermost thoughts and feelings is the sweetest song she can sing and it should not be muted." When a person allows others to define the conditions of their existence for them, they cannot hear their own song. On Thursday, July 27, 2006 (9 a.m.PT, worldtalkradio dot com), Johnston appears on Internet radio's Full Power Living with host, Ilene Dillon, explaining how to use myth and storytelling to reclaim your own song!
Johnston will be addressing:
| | - Why we cling to others for nourishment
- How we utilize food to compensate for emotional emptiness
- What we need to do to transform our self perception
- How to use stories, myths and dreams to help you identify your distortions and restore your proper emotional and physical nourishment
- How her work with women informs our understanding of why men develop eating disorders or overeating
