The Truth, It Lies is the debut novel from Sydney-based Irish writer Eoin Hennigan. Set during the McCarthy witch-hunt in Hollywood in the early 1950s, the book delves into the unraveling events at fictional movie studio Mayor Studios. Showbusiness lawyer Robert Harvey, desperate for money, accepts a plea for help from paranoid movie director Michael Bloom to find the reels of his latest picture, which have mysteriously disappeared. However, as Harvey’s inquiries find him digging deeper into a side of the movie industry he’s never seen before his priorities have to change…
Beginning life as a movie script, The Truth, It Lies evolved into a novel and is published by engano publishing. The book will shortly be available through Amazon and other online bookstores.

Eoin Hennigan’s struggle to battle the condition known as journalism landed him jobs in various parts of the world, traveling along a path that has included Australian soap operas, South African mercenaries and a thirst for ‘special tea’.
