Recently a number of complaints have appeared from writers involved in freelance writing, who are claiming that they have been unfairly fired by MasterPapers.com in order to get some inside light on the issue I contacted the manager of the human resources department of MasterPapers.com Ms. Nicola Curnow and asked her several questions in regards to this matter. What we have found out is that the fact that writers are being fired is, in fact, true, but unlike the writers she explained the reasons from the company’s perspective.

But what are the selection criteria you look at while assessing whether or not someone qualified to work for you? “First of all, we require that all of the writers provide us with the copy of their diplomas, which provide us with the proof that they actually have a degree in the area that they are interested in writing in. Also, every writer is tested with an assignment, usually an essay, which shows us how well the writer knows the field, and how well they follow assignment criteria and complete academic assignments. Only after the person successfully passes the required testing do we hire him or her to work for our company. But this does not mean that they will get to write dissertations or research proposals right away, we warn our writers from the beginning that they have to prove themselves trust worthy, by providing help for somewhat ‘smaller’ assignments like 2 or 3 page essays during their trial period.”
In answer to our question what possible reason may lead to the writer being fired Ms. Curnow informed us that there are actually quite a few but the most strict is if the writer tries to plagiarize any of the work that they write for customers, and since MasterPapers.com checks all of the completed assignments with the latest versions of the major plagiarism detecting engines prior to having the assignment forwarded to the customer all any poor quality work is automatically detected and the writer is fired without any compensation for this particular assignment.
