Cabera LLC, a leading provider of financial services software, today announced its MyCheckPro 2.0 check-by-phone software package. The software, for the Windows operating system platform, allows insurance brokers to accept single or recurring (scheduled) checks from their customers from afar via telephone or fax. The broker can then print what is known as a "demand draft" and deposit it in any U.S. bank for deposit. This system can save the broker the 2-3% fees normally charged by credit card processors.

"For the broker operating on a thin profit margin, you can’t beat a system like MyCheckPro where you can schedule monthly payments on a customer for a year and have minimal associated overhead. And there’s nothing like not having to wait for a check in the mail any more."

MyCheckPro features multi-user support of up to 25 users, and includes an option to print checks on plain paper. The program still draws upon its database of over 20,000 banks to make data entry very simple procedure for the broker.

Pricing and Availability

The MyCheckPro software package is available for download at the company's web site. A single-user license of the program, downloadable by site visitors, costs $119.99 for the first year, and renewal for subsequent years is just $39.99. A trial license is also available at no charge to allow users new to check-by-phone time to evaluate the software.
