GoodStorm Launches Online Store For Fight Hunger: Walk the World

GoodStorm, a progressive e-commerce company that runs an online MarketSpace for sellers and buyers, has launched a store a for Fight Hunger: Walk the World, a global advocacy and fund raising event organized by the World Food Programme and its partners, to fight child hunger.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 6, 2006 -- GoodStorm (www.GoodStorm.com), a progressive e-commerce company that runs an online MarketSpace for sellers and buyers, has launched a store at http://www.goodstorm.com/stores/fight_hunger for Fight Hunger: Walk the World, a global advocacy and fund raising event organized by the World Food Programme (www.wfp.org) and its partners, to fight child hunger.

Featuring T-shirts for men, women and children decorated with the Walk the World logo, the store aims to continue the momentum generated by the more than 760.000 people in 118 countries and 420 locations, across 24 time zones, who participated in Fight Hunger: Walk the World on 21 May.

Funds raised from the sale of shirts will fund two successful global activities aimed at reducing child hunger: projects to help pregnant and lactating women and young children and school feeding projects which provide food for school students in developing countries.
