34 Year Old Chess Company Explodes on July 4th, 2006

Raphael Neff’s popular Washington State based chess company Chess House finds business exploding in slow summer season with annual sales set to easily double and triple recent years past $1.2M. Started by Jack Winters during Bobby Fischer’s 1972 golden age of chess, Chess House’s friendly persona built a name like no other in the chess business.

(PRWEB) July 5, 2006 -- As Chess House prepares to launch it’s free online multimedia chess instruction portal to help new chess players, Raphael continues to hire chess experts that build on a legacy of "I’ll dig up the answer for you" type service as well as bring helpful chess expertise to the company. Chess House is once again stocking and launching hundreds of carefully selected chess sets sourced from reliable worldwide sources, a large number from India, the heartbeat of chess set designs.

"Chess players worldwide are becoming more demanding. They expect to find unique chess sets in stock and expect you to deliver to Abu Dhabi in 3 days. Having shipped to more than 90 countries, we are up to the challenge and meet expectations all the time" says Raphael Neff, president of Chess House. "We recently met with FedEx and secured good rates for customers, adding to the array of UPS and post office shipping options already in place."

As chess continues it’s way up the sports columns, especially with the latest radical variation, "chess boxing", the age, gender, and interest boundaries are shattered with a resulting influx in chess exposure. "Just about every theme turns into a chess set… Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter", joked a co-worker. No doubt Superman chess will show up on the doorstep tomorrow.

Thousands of chess players enjoy their relationship with The Chess House, turning to the family style catalog business that was turned loose in the internet in 1996. Raphael says the chess market competition is huge, but he’s glad it’s there. "It gives people lots of choice". Still, he wishes there were fewer gimmicky chess sites with useless content out there. Fortunately chess players are smart, intelligent, and know where to find the real value.

Chess House offers lots to chess players with it’s full service chess sets and games website at http://www.chesshouse.com
