Home based business owners have found that there can be some significant challenges to having a business in their home. Keeping things as well as their lives organized is quite stressful and often seems impossible. How does one work around two children running around, no space to put a computer or quiet for phone calls? “Clients are wondering how to fit in work, childcare, and food preparation in a given day,” says Jean Back President of Survival Essentials. “If some guidelines are given and the initial piles of papers are removed, she finds that the business owner is able to devote his/her time effectively to the productivity needed.” Back will present ways, through audience participation, to organize a home based business and make it a place that the business owner and his/her clients will enjoy. The audience will be encouraged to discuss their day to day responsibilities, how to overcome procrastination, priorities, office management procedures and processes as well as visualizing success.
