Author Asks: 'Hillary Clinton Throws Joseph Leiberman under the Bus -- So What Else is New?'
“Expecting loyalty from Hillary Clinton is like expecting marital fidelity from her husband,” says the author of a new Hillary Clinton quote book. “It ain’t gonna happen.”
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 7, 2006 -- Hillary Clinton decided to toss the far left a bone this weekend by declining to endorse beleaguered Connecticut Sen. Joseph Leiberman if he is forced to run as an independent. Clinton expressed a vague hope that he’d win her party’s nomination, but then carefully qualified her statement by saying that she'd support whoever was chosen as the Democratic nominee ... which is no surprise to Tom Kuiper, editor of “I’ve Always Been A Yankees Fan: Hillary Clinton in Her Own Words” (World Ahead Publishing; paperback: $12.95; ISBN 0974670189.)
“Hillary wouldn’t know loyalty if she tripped over it,” notes Kuiper. “She is out for one person only, and that’s herself.” So far as he's concerned, the Leiberman situation provides a perfect illustration of Hillary’s hypocritical approach to the world. “Joe Leiberman has exactly the kind of thoughtful, centered approach to the issues that Hillary’s been trying to co-opt for herself as part of her moderate make-over. Even so, she’s obviously calculated that it’s time to throw the guy under the looney-left bus, no doubt with the thought ‘better him than me.’”
"I've Always Been a Yankees Fan" is rife with examples of Hillary’s sometimes hilarious and often profane reactions towards people she believes have been disloyal..

Kuiper’s book documents over 500 such jaw-dropping quotes, making it the most extensive collection of Hillary’s threats, flip-flops, and outrageous claims ever compiled. While her acolytes have predictably tried to attack its credibility, the quotes are drawn from 63 published books and over 100 articles, a broad assortment of sources that withstands their partisan sniping.
“Hillary will say or do anything to get her way, no matter who gets trampled. When it comes to her public pronouncements, there’s not a shred of authenticity to her. It’s what she says in private, or when she’s out of the country, that counts,” says Kuiper.
Dick Morris, author of the book's foreword, agrees. “Hillary thinks that nobody is keeping track of her and that her quotes will never catch up with her. But Thomas Kuiper did keep track.“ Continues Morris, “No (other) politician could possibly amass quotes like this and expect to run for public office. Nobody would dare.”
Except for Her Majesty Hillary, of course.
