The second quarter of 2006 marks the fifth consecutive quarter of record sales for Lightning Labels.

Lightning Labels, the nation's first all digital label printer, announced today that they had achieved yet another quarter of record sales. The second quarter of 2006 was the fifth consecutive quarter of record sales and the first time the company had exceeded $500,000 for a quarter.

“I am delighted that our customers continue to reward us with their business in record numbers,” said Steve Smith, president. “What is particularly gratifying is that the number of repeat orders was also a record in this quarter. We have worked very hard to cultivate a loyal customer base, and it is pleasing to see these efforts rewarded.”

Compared with the second quarter of 2005, 2006 sales were up 46%, making Lightning Labels one of the fastest growing label printers in the country. “In an industry that is growing only in the low single digits, to have a roughly 50% growth rate is impressive,” said Smith. “With so many of our new customers using a commercial printer for the first time, we are not just taking sales off our competitors, we are helping to grow the industry.”

Lightning Labels (http://www.lightninglabels.com) is one of the nation’s leaders in digital label printing. Using only state of the art digital technology designed specifically for short run labels, they offer fast turnaround on custom labels for a variety of industries.
