TuitionDiscount.com Generates Over 7,500 College Student Leads in First Year
In just 12 months, Prime-Leads matches over 7,500 college-bound individuals with compatible colleges & universities through its web site, TuitionDiscount.com.
(PRWEB) July 9, 2006 -– Since May 2005, the lead-generation web site for college & university admission departments, TuitionDiscount.com, has been matching college-bound individuals with compatible postsecondary institutions.
According to Prime-Leads founder Paul Ransdell, “These are qualified prospects – matched leads – better than ACT or SAT purchase-names, because our system limits results to the best four matches, and does not distribute the same prospects hundreds of times like the other guys do.”
These leads represent a cross-section of traditional, non-traditional, high-achiever, minority, and other categories of students. Each lead comes with complete contact information and a thorough student bio form.
“At this early stage, we have far more leads than we ever anticipated, and the numbers just keep rising and rising. Many institutions are stuck in old ways of doing things, while others are taking advantage of online lead-gen and getting worthwhile results,” according to Ransdell.
“We have eight pilot institutions receiving hundreds of leads for free, and we are looking for another twelve pilot institutions.”
How does Prime-Leads generate its leads? There are five marketing tactics currently in place: (1) literature mailed to metropolitan high school guidance counselors, for distribution to students, (2) pay-per-click listings with Yahoo and Google, along with hundreds of compatible web site links (3) mass opt-in email marketing, (4) nationwide radio advertising, and (5) grassroots events that serve to generate buzz.
The projected goals for the next 12 months are upwards of 150,000 to 300,000 matched leads. Approximately 25 percent of their leads click the link to the matched institution’s web site, according to Ransdell. "We deliver them in real-time through the power of the Internet.”
