New Bed And Breakfast Offers Cozy Getaway For San Diego Bound Travelers

The Black Orchid Bed and Breakfast, located in Encinitas, California, 30 minutes north from San Diego, is officially open for business. The Black Orchid is a life long dream come true for owners Earl and Linda Flores who reconstructed their existing ranch-style home, adding a second story to accommodate the B and B’s three guestroom suites, which brings romance of a grand era into this elegant bed and breakfast.

Encinitas, CA (PRWEB) July 10, 2006 -- The Black Orchid Bed and Breakfast, located in Encinitas, California, is officially open for business. The Black Orchid is a life long dream come true for owners Earl and Linda Flores who reconstructed their existing ranch-style home, adding a second story to accommodate the B and B’s three guestroom suites. Earl and Linda couldn’t be happier with the reconstruction effort that took a little over a year to complete.

Linda explains her enthusiasm, “I have always wanted to own and operate a bed and breakfast. I love meeting new people and having guests stay in my home.”

Opening the Black Orchid was truly a family affair. Earl designed the reconstructed facade and second story of the home, while Linda completed all the interior design work herself.

Linda continues, “Our goal is to offer every guest a quiet and peaceful stay. Singles traveling for work or couples traveling for pleasure will find our bed and breakfast to be a cozy little getaway.”

Each guestroom suite comes complete with private bathroom and patio as well as high-end furnishings and luxurious bedroom linens. Visitors are greeted with something to quench their thirst, such as a warm cup of tea or ice-cold lemonade. And as the name suggests, breakfast is served daily in the common dinning room.

“The Black Orchid is a charming little place that adds character to Encinitas,” says Earl.

Earl’s sentiments appear to resonate with city officials and local business owners. Representatives from the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce as well as Encinitas’s Mayor, Christy Guerin, were among those who attended the ribbon cutting ceremony, showing their support.

Earl adds, “Encinitas offers so many relaxing activities. The shops, the beaches, and restaurants attract visitors from all over the world. The Black Orchid Bed and Breakfast is only a mile from the beautiful Moonlight Beach, three blocks from the famous Quails Botanical Gardens, 10 minutes from the Del Mar race track, and 30 minutes from downtown San Diego. Now the city can claim the Black Orchid as one of the many attractions that make Encinitas so special.”

With its New Orleans inspired architecture and décor, the Black Orchid is a unique stop for any traveler seeking the perfect balance of privacy and good-old-fashioned hospitality.
