Worldwide Photography Community Celebrates First Anniversary of Podcast Series with Increased Production
Nikonians® -- Worldwide Home for Nikon® Photographers, has expanded their podcast production schedule, adding a weekly News Flash segment to their strong line-up which includes The Image Doctors and the Behind the Lens series.
(PRWEB) July 11, 2006 -- Nikonians® -- Worldwide Home for Nikon® Photographers, is adding variety to their podcast production schedule.
The podcasts now come in three styles, each with an emphasis on sharing photography news and ideas with serious amateurs and professionals.
Available through free mp3 downloads, the shows keep their listeners up to date on new products and hot topics in the photography industry by providing links to the discussion forums hosted at Nikonians.org.
The shows include the "Behind the Lens series" which takes time for in-depth interviews with recognized masters in the field of photography. This series springs from the original first podcast produced in June 2005 by Nikonians co-founder Bo Stahlbrandt. His interview with US Nature Photographer and Pro Nikon user Tony Sweet has led to further shows featuring pro sports photographers David Black and Rich Clarkson, travel photographer Bob Krist and European Wildlife Photographer of the Year Claus Brandt.
Also available are “The Image Doctors” -- Jason Odell and Rick Walker, in a free-wheeling 30-minute talk show centered on all aspects of photography and the Nikonians community. The show is produced every two weeks and is highlighted by hands-on reviews of cameras, lenses, accessories and digital imaging software.
The newest edition is the weekly "News Flash" hosted by Jessica Odell. Her show is brief and to the point, quickly gathering the latest in industry news and spotlighting the most engaging topics discussed by the 50,000 member Nikonians community.
