No Teacher Left Behind

Educators Travel Associates (ETA) is the first company to provide teaching professionals direct access to the wholesale travel industry. Members must be active or retired educators and enjoy travel pricing not available to the general public.

(PRWEB) July 12, 2006 -- We’ve all seen ads geared toward students promoting fantastically discounted travel abroad. Now, for the first time, there is a company that believes it’s their teachers’ turn to enjoy travel benefits as a targeted group. Educators Travel Associates or ETA, out of New Mexico, says educators deserve a vacation break and deserve it at a price they can afford. ETA is the first company to directly connect the professional educator with the wholesale travel industry resulting in benefits for both.

ETA’s teachers gain access to travel and lodging prices not available to the general public. As a member, the educator travels where they’d like, when they’d like, and as often as they’d like paying only for what they choose to use. Memberships are for either 15 or 25 year terms with the benefits and access fully transferable within families.

Tanya Porterfield, a special education teacher from Ypsilanti, Michigan, credits ETA for an extra vacation this year for her family. “We went from staying in a hotel room to staying in a two-bedroom condo and did it twice for less than we paid for last year’s trip.”

Meanwhile, the vacation industry loves the travel patterns of the typical educator. Instead of vacationing during the high-season months like January or February, teachers are in the midst of work and have most of their free time during the summer. This fact, along with the desire to give an advantage to an occupation which is underpaid and underappreciated, was cited by ETA as crucial in negotiating a special relationship between educators and wholesale travel providers.

“We’re very proud of the program we’ve put together helping teachers improve their vacations and save money at the same time,” says ETA partner Sean Moore. “Getting them the best deal possible comes with a great feeling.” When asked if he could summarize the company’s mission, Mr. Moore smiled and replied, “that’s easy: no teacher left behind.”

Teachers comprise the largest world-wide segment of any occupation. For the first time, a company recognizes their clout and special needs within the massive travel industry. Interested educators can contact Educators Travel Associates at (877) 555-5555.
