ClickGrid.com Ad Banner Web Service Launches Public Beta
A new web service that allows advertisers to buy ads on host sites based on ad size and time rather than cost per click. ClickGrid.com is a small start up that helps web masters generate revenue from their online resources.
(PRWEB) July 12, 2006 -- Owners of small and medium traffic websites, bloggers and podcasters know how expensive it can be to keep their sites up and running and how rough it can be to generate money from advertising. But now they have a different way of building revenue thanks to a new ad network called Clickgrid, which was created by D Times Two LLC, a company owned and operated by Andy Doan and Mike Draper.
Clickgrid works by allowing advertisers to purchase banner space on different websites based on the size of the ad rather than the more traditional cost per click. According to Doan, “It seemed to me that the only people really benefiting from Google’s cost per click model were companies that could sink a lot of money into a campaign or sites that get a ridiculous amount of traffic.”
Like the Google Ads, grid hosts are able to choose which ads to put up on their websites allowing for greater control and better matching of ads and website content. Advertisers are able to get statistical information on their ads via a control panel on the Clickgrid website. In addition, Clickgrid ads are free to set up and run, and grid owners can even match specified keywords to increase traffic.
