MMAC Recognizes Webcom for 2nd Year in a Row as a Future 50 Award Winner

Webcom, Inc., the leader in simplified quote-to-order enablement for the selling of complex products and services, is proud to announce their selection as a Metro Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) ‘Future 50’ Award Winner for the second year in a row. The list recognizes companies that have shown significant revenue and employment growth over a three-year period of time.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently announced the 2006 Future 50 winners. The award is presented by the MMAC and its Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE) to fifty local businesses who have shown growth over the past three years, are less than 20 years old, privately held and located in the metro Milwaukee area. Companies are eligible for Future 50 selection for up to three years.

“We are proud to once again be recognized among Milwaukee’s fastest growing companies. Our growth and 100% client success rate is a testament to the dedication and drive of the Webcom team,” said Aleks Ivanovic, CEO and founder of Webcom. “We also thank our clients, who rely on us to support their mission critical business processes,” Ivanovic added.

The 2006 Future 50 companies represented a combined employment of approximately 3,196 people and have combined revenue of $544 million. The winners represent a diverse mix of service, technology, real estate, construction and manufacturing firms from Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Kenosha, Racine and Walworth counties.

The MMAC launched the Future 50 Program in 1980 as a way to recognize the outstanding achievements of local, fast-growing companies. The program promotes young companies in Milwaukee, and is recognized as an important asset to the city’s economic growth.
