Astral Foods Acquires Mackenzie Limited
Astral Foods, parent company to Chesapeake Bay Crabcakes and More, Chesapeake Bay Gourmet,and World Class Fulfillment has finalized an agreement to acquire Mackenzie Limited, purveyor of gourmet food products.
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) July 11, 2006 -- Astral Foods announced today that it successfully closed its transaction with Mackenzie Limited. As a result of this transaction, Mackenzie Limited. is a fully-owned subsidiary of Astral Foods. Astral Foods is fully owned by Atlanta-based Astral Brands, LLC.
Mackenzie Limited. will begin immediately operating under the umbrella of Astral Foods and will continue to operate under its current management structure and headquarters in Baltimore, Md. Manufacturing and fulfillment will consolidate to World Class Fulfillment, of Baltimore, Md., a wholly owned subsidiary of Astral Foods and the leading perishable food fulfillment company in the country.
