Altient Corporation, a leading provider of unmatched end-to-end technology-based connectivity, infrastructure, and application solutions to physician practices, and BONES, the only national Orthopaedic practice manager and administrator organization, announce a Joint Marketing Agreement.
As much as 67% of clinical trial patients in an independent survey who considered their physician to be a large influence on their decision to enroll, and 90% of physicians stated they would like to see more patients participate in clinical trials, but are faced with great challenges. Most practices are too busy with day-to-day operations to keep abreast of all the clinical research programs. When practices want to participate in a particular clinical trial, they resolve to laboriously reviewing each patient chart for clinical research possibilities and attempt to manually sift through complex patient inclusion/exclusion criteria per study. Finally, a referring patient’s practice to an investigator for enrollment does not usually reap the rewards of referring that patient.
Altient and BONES offer the CCRhub program to BONES members, providing a comprehensive solution for querying and reporting, chart review, and other services to improve clinical research success. In addition, unlike most research programs, participating members receive an administrative fee incentive whether their patient or their colleague’s patient is enrolled in a research study, encouraging practice program membership.
Altient also offers affordable medical record and document scanning services, called Scanhub, in addition to other technology products and services, to medical practices to enable them to have more comprehensive information at their fingertips. The document scanning services are a perfect complement to the CCRhub program or a valuable service on its own.
“We are extremely familiar with the complexities and challenges facing medical practices,” said Jim Gossett, President and CEO of Altient. “We know how important the relationship is between BONES and its members, and are looking forward to contributing to BONES’ value to its members.”
“We are extremely pleased to be offering out the CCRhub program to BONES members. We believe in delivering value to our members, and offering them real tools for managing and improving their practices,” said Julie Kahlfeldt, Executive Director of BONES. “Altient provides a one-stop solution for practices nationwide and has had BONES members as clients for years. This joint marketing agreement is a natural evolution in our relationship.”
