Open Source vs. Proprietary Systems panel offers comparison of advantages and disadvantages afforded by open source software.

Virtuas Open Source Solutions, the premier provider of enterprise-level support and enablement services for widely adopted open source software, is pleased to announce its participation CSIA’s Open Source vs. Proprietary Systems panel. Representing Virtuas on the panel will be Matt Filios, President and Founder of Virtuas Open Source Solutions.

The event will offer insight on notable topics surrounding open software, including TCO, license fees, reliability, flexibility and intellectual property using ERP, CRM and database applications as the points of comparison.

The panel is made up of representatives from distinguished Colorado organizations including Open Logic, Inc. ReadyTalk, Statera, Corporate Express, Kroll Factual Data and Microsoft.
