Griot Enterprises And Drive Thru Comics.com Join Forces

Griot Enterprises, “The Home Of Black Sci-fi”, has entered an agreement with Drive Thru Comics.com to have its products distributed as e-books (electronic books) through the online service.

“We took a look at the products that they offered and were intrigued,” Griot Enterprises’ publisher Jiba Molei Anderson stated. “(Drive Thru Comics’) business model is solid. It was a good fit for all parties involved.”

Drive Thru Comics follows what has come to be known as “The I-tunes model” of offering digital content. With the elimination of printing costs, books can be offered at a greatly reduced price. “It’s just a matter of offering the same product in different formats,” Anderson says. “In the same way that you can either buy a CD or just download the whole album, you can either purchase a print copy of our products or download our books to view on your computer screen.”
