Meet the Stars of Sport Relief in an Amazing Interactive Adventure

Join the celebs in an interactive journey to find out how we can all make the world a better place.

(PRWEB) July 12, 2006 -- Take a journey across the world with the click of a button and travel 5457 miles to Guatemala to meet Alex, Famuel, Mayra Kelita and Cristina. Go to Sport Relief Guatemala, where you take part in an amazing interactive adventure to find out about their lives, dreams for the future and how they are making their worlds better.

Navigate your way around the dangerous streets of Guatemala City, collect the trump cards, read the life books and discover how some of the children helped by Sport Relief live their lives. You can see what Mayra Kelita plants in the fields, why Alex isn’t allowed to go out on his own and who Famuel’s favourite footballer is!

Find out even more about our Sport Relief stars in a special show on Monday 10th July CBBC at 5pm, with Reggie Yates as he travels to Guatemala with two young people from the UK. Join them as they live alongside Famuel and Cristina for a whole week; eating the same food, doing the same work and learning new games. They discover that life is a little different for their South American friends! For more details take a look at Reggie in Guatemala.

Sport Relief is an initiative of Comic Relief, registered charity 326568, in association with BBC Sport.

Since its launch in 2002, Sport Relief has raised over £30 million.
Half of the money raised will be spent in the UK to help give those living in disadvantaged and divided communities a better life; the other half will help children and young people in the world’s poorest countries, faced with the daily reality of extreme poverty, abuse and exploitation.

The Government’s National School Sport strategy is transforming PE and school sport at every level. It aims to give all children the chance to take part in at least two hours a week of high quality PE and school sport in and out of school.

The Youth Sport Trust is supporting Sport Relief in Schools and has helped to secure the involvement of a large number of their network of their Schools Sport Partnerships and colleges.

Sainsbury’s are the title sponsor of the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.
