Daniel Corby, CEO of 118 Group, opens new outbound state of the art call centre in Chelmsford and becomes one of the towns largest employers.

Daniel Corby, CEO of UK based 118 Group Limited, one of Britain's fastest growing companies, announces a major expansion of its business.

From a standing start in 2005, Daniel Corby has grown the business to annualised sales of circa £18 Million and is now one of Chelmsfords largest employers with around 300 staff.

The success of the company is the product mix and a team of excellent sales people says Daniel Corby.

Daniel Corby, who has worked in a number of high profile, high growth UK businesses, including phones4u, the high street mobile retailer and The Tanning Shop, part of Bodycare International. Both of these businesses, at which Daniel Corby held a board position experienced huge growth in the time at which Daniel was at the helm.

In 2005 Daniel Corby launched the 118 Group, which now sells memorable telephone numbers, directory listings, web banners and is due to launch a portal in the used car market.

Daniel Corby believes that the business can grow to 1,000 staff within 6 months and achieve annualised sales of £30 Million within the next 12 months.

The new call centre, based in Chelmsford will see significant infrastructure spend as it gears up to make 30,000 outbound sales calls per day.
