Best Sunscreen Survey Among America's Leading Dermatologists Reveals Five Most Frequently Recommended Sunscreen Brands
Survey of 785 dermatologists reveals America's most frequently recommended sunscreen brands.
Minneapolis (PRWEB) July 17, 2006 -- This spring, sun protective clothing manufacturer Coolibar conducted a survey among the nation’s leading dermatologists to determine their recommendations for the best sunscreen. The survey, conducted at the 2006 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting, revealed that the following brands, listed in order, make up the top five:
1. Neutrogena
2. Coppertone
3. SolBar
4. Blue Lizard
5. Oil of Olay
These brands accounted for 65 percent of the 785 surveyed dermatologists’ brand-specific recommendations. The dermatologists are members of the AAD and represent 45 different states. More than 50 different sunscreen brands were identified in the survey.
