San Diego Company Donates Satellite Phone Equipment to Homeland Security

Privately held All Road Communications yesterday donated over $3000 worth of satellite phone equipment and airtime to Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

(PRWEB) July 13, 2006 -- America's Number 1 Satellite Phone Rental & Sales provider, San Diego California based All Road Communications, http://www.allroadcommunications.com, yesterday donated over $3000 worth of satellite phone equipment and airtime to Jesse St. Amant, Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness for Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

The donation included a brand new Iridium 9505A Satellite Phone, 500 minutes of airtime, 1 25-Watt lightweight flexible solar panel, 1 car antenna, 1 car charger and a Pelican Case.

This satellite phone will help us better communicate if we are faced with another emergency in this Parish
"This satellite phone will help us better communicate if we are faced with another emergency in this Parish," said Mr Amant. "All Road Communications also donated the same Satellite Phone to my collegue Larry Ingargiola in St. Bernard's Parish, which will greatly facilitate my communication with him, and hopefully save lives, should the worst hapen again," he said.

All Road Commnications Operations Manager Chris Hoar believes that his company can make a difference with these donations.

"We are fortunate enough to be in the position to help this great city in a meaningful way, our satellite phone equipment works when cell phone towers are down and the power grid is offline. In those vital first few hours after disaster hits, we believe that having the right communications equipment can save lives, so this is the least we can do," said Hoar.

All Road has also donated Satellite Phone equipment and airtime to Sheriffs Departments throughout the South, including Gulfport Mississippi, and will continue to assist in this effort by donating satellite phones to the Sherriff of StBernard's Parish this Friday.

"We hope that by bringing attention to this equipment we can also alert the public to the fact that this technology is affordable. We sell satellite phones from as low as $700, and airtime for as little as $1 a minute. For less than the price of a widescreen LCD TV you can own a satellite phone and enough minutes to potentially save your life," he said.

All Road Communications rents satellite phones from $19.49 per week. All Road is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All Road can have your satellite phone or phones delivered in 24 hours or less. For a free quote or consultation call All Road anytime on 1-888-884-7623.
