Do These AdCubes Have Staying Power?

AdCubes are an innovative new idea that offers great value for customers. AdCubes are square advertisements that are displayed on a single page, and once purchased, will be visible on that site forever. AdCubes start at $1, and each successive AdCube costs $1 more than the previous one. New AdCubes are added to the top, where they are most visible.

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 15, 2006 -- IBTimes.com is announcing the launch of an innovative new advertisement concept called "AdCubes." AdCubes are square advertisements that are displayed on a single page, and once purchased, will be visible on that site forever (visible at http://www.ibtimes.com/adcubes). AdCubes start at $1, and each successive AdCube costs $1 more than the previous one. New AdCubes are added to a stack on the homepage, with the most recent gaining the most visibility.

The new AdCubes site is inspired by another recent and very successful site called the Million Dollar Homepage (http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com). In that site, college student Andy Tew leveraged the powers of global media, pixel ads, and huge traffic to raise $1 million dollars within a few months. However, AdCubes is not simply a derivative of Million Dollar Homepage. There are significant differences that make it more like a 2nd generation ad delivery site.

The strongest selling point of AdCubes is that advertisers get phenomenal value for their money. AdCubes start at $1, and increases only by $1 every time a new customer signs up. That means that even after a hundred customer signs up, it would still cost only $100 for an AdCube. The same sized pixel ad at Million Dollar Homepage would have cost a flat $3,481.

Another selling point is that as the advertisements become more expensive, the interest in the site grows exponentially. There is no end-point of the website, meaning it can continue to grow forever. As the AdCube prices enter the realm of hundreds or thousands of dollars, visitors will return daily to see who is buying the most expensive advertisements, bringing value to all the previous advertisers.

As of the time of this release, the AdCubes site had generated nearly 1,000 clicks and delivered over 100 clicks to the 3 advertisers within a few hours of launch. This is phenomenal, considering we have not even begun advertising the site, and that the visits and clicks are purely the result of viral marketing. As the site gains traction, we expect the pageload and click counts to grow impressively.
