City Seeks Requests for Proposals for the Historical Hacienda of New Port Richey, Florida

The City of New Port Richey on Florida’s West Coast invites qualified bidders to submit Letters of Interest for the lease/acquisition and historic preservation of the vacant property generally known as, “The Hacienda of New Port Richey.” Built in 1922, the 2-story concrete block structure features a Spanish design with a basement and tower. The Hacienda is on record as a historic structure and was used as a hotel in the 1900’s. It is on 0.79 acres and includes 21,763 SF heated/cooled improvements.

New Port Richey, FL (PRWEB) July 17, 2006 -- The City of New Port Richey on Florida’s West Coast invites qualified bidders to submit Letters of Interest for the lease and or acquisition and historic preservation of the vacant property generally known as, “The Hacienda of New Port Richey,” located at 5621 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A pre-submission conference is scheduled Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at City Hall, 5919 Main Street at 1:00 PM. Deadline for Letter of Interest submissions is August 25, 2006.

Visionary concepts that would be considered as permitted uses would include: small conference center, banquet facility, lyceum, fine dining establishment, meeting and events center, or a bed and breakfast/hospitality venue, although all proposals will be considered.
