Capella University, an accredited online university and leader in online education, has been named one of the 2006 WebCT Exemplary Course Project winners. The course that was honored, Project Management for IT Professionals, is one of six courses chosen for the award. “The course provides relevant, real-world activities for learners through interactive media and advice from experts,” said Stacey Clawson, the online university’s principal architect. “This form of problem-based learning is important for Capella's adult learners.”
The award was presented to Clawson, along with course designer Liz Anderson, at Impact 2006, the eighth-annual WebCT user conference. The conference was held July 10-14 in Chicago.
