Our culture is fixated on getting instant results
South Lyon, MI (PRWEB) July 19, 2006
Michigan resident and 10 year fitness expert Rob Poulos recently released his brand new “Power Fitness Principles” consumer guide that reveals fundamental fitness knowledge he says most people have never been taught. Poulos set a personal goal of getting his guide into the hands of 1,000,000 overweight and out-of-shape people so they can use his fitness principles to get into the best shape of their lives.
“This country needs a wake-up call on proper fitness knowledge,” stated Poulos. “About 31% of Americans are obese, and according to a recent article in USA Today, about 40%, or 68 million people, will be obese by 2010 if they continue gaining at the current rate. That’s alarming. But there is something we can do about it.”
According to Poulos, most people try to get into shape and lose weight using “quick fix” solutions. “Our culture is fixated on getting instant results,” he said. “And when it comes to losing weight, most people gravitate toward the latest fad diet or magic pill to solve their problems. This just creates confusion and frustration, as the short-term gains you may be lucky to achieve are rarely sustainable, and they often come with undesirable side-effects and require major lifestyle changes.”
Over the past 10 years, Poulos says, he’s experimented with every fitness and weight loss method he could get his hands on. “It took me years of trial and error to sift through all the junk that litters the fitness market and find out that most of it just doesn’t work. After I finally discovered what I believe to be the core fitness fundamentals, I decided that I wanted to help as many people as possible so that’s why I wrote my free consumer guide exposing everything I learned.”
Poulos’s 37-page “Power Fitness Principles” consumer guide is available only on his website at http://www.powerfitnessprinciples.com as a free download. He encourages anyone that wants to get into better shape or lose weight to read his report, and also to send a copy of the report to friends and family members.
“The most exciting thing I learned about fitness over the past decade,” said Poulos, “is that when you properly apply the techniques I teach in my guide, you’ll never have to go on another diet again, nor run blindly on a treadmill for hours at a time. Instead, you incorporate simple yet fundamental changes to your lifestyle that will have an everlasting effect on your fitness and overall health for years to come.”
