The Pathway to Successful Change

The leading performance solutions and leadership development company, Interaction Associates (IA), is partnering with HR.com to sponsor unique best-practices seminars at the most exclusive meeting of HR professionals in the country — the Employers of Excellence conference on October 24-27, 2006 at the Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

“We have assembled a compelling roster of speakers in seminars aimed at providing practical, real-world lessons for HR professionals and other business leaders who are looking for new and proven solutions,” said Linda Dunkel, President and CEO of Interaction Associates. “That’s our formula for 40 years now — practical learning you can apply on day one — and we’re confident that attendees will come away with new ideas and strategies after attending our seminars at the Employers of Excellence conference in October,” said Dunkel.

Employers of Excellence is a national conference produced annually by the global HR authority, HR.com, which partners with leading HR and performance solutions companies like Interaction Associates to round out an impressive list of speakers including Frances Hesselbein, Tony Schwartz, Ram Charan, Steven Levitt, and Marshall Goldsmith — to name a few.

The IA learning track of seminars is entitled Pursuing Excellence, Executing for Success and will be held on October 25 and 26. The seminars are designed as interactive learning sessions with senior executives and consultants exploring best-practice solutions and helping attendees problem-solve important HR and organization issues. “We love this kind of environment — rolling up our sleeves with front line executives in dynamic action-learning sessions,” according to Dunkel. “It’s the best way to deliver powerful learning in a way that provides lasting value,” said Dunkel.

IA sponsored seminars include the following topics and speakers —

“Collaboration: The Operating Platform for the Successful Organization” — Linda Dunkel, President and CEO of Interaction Associates on the importance of developing a truly collaborative and highly engaged workforce.

“The Pathway to Successful Change” — Carolyn Fischer, VP of Organizational Development at Comcast, on the practical tools and steps used in a successful change initiative that helped turn Comcast into the best company to work for in Massachusetts — in just 18 months.

“Developing High Potential Leaders” — The Chairperson of Interaction Associates — Marybeth Tahar and Christine Landon show how Agilent uses action learning teams and powerful business simulations to develop high-potential leaders in a highly competitive field.

“Leading the Organization to Live Its Values” — Practical and proven results for moving from talk to action in living the values of an organization, with examples drawn from Fidelity Investments and Boston Scientific. IA’s Bob Wilson leads this highly interactive session on change.
