The Performer's Academy Announces Jeff Celentano to Direct Family Film 'Whiskers'

"Whiskers" a family film directed by Jeff Celentano, Drama Director at The Performer's Academy in Orange County. Casting will commence by Castsing Director Joey Paul Jensen of "That's So Raven" and "Even Stevens."

Orange County, CA (PRWEB) July 21, 2006 -- The Performer’s Academy’s -- Jeff Celentano -- set to direct family feature “Whiskers,” cast by Joey Paul Jensen of “That’s So Raven,” “Even Stevens.”

The Performer’s Academy of Laguna Hills, California is very excited that its drama director, Jeff Celentano will be directing another feature, this time, a family film called “Whiskers.” This film is centered on a young girl and her relationship with a seal named Whiskers.”

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Joey Paul many times before
Casting Director Joey Paul Jensen has been brought on board to cast this film. She has a prolific resume including such hit shows as “That’s So Raven” and “Even Stevens” for Disney and Nickelodeon.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Joey Paul many times before,” says Natalie Costa, owner of The Performer’s Academy. “She is an amazing lady with a great passion and dedication for this business. She has been to our school many times to see new talent and to watch run their scenes and commercials and many times, she will make special appointments to have our top talent read for her privately.”

Matching Jeff and Joey is ideal. In addition to being an accomplished and award winning film director and writer, he recently directed Academy Award winner Faye Dunaway in “Say It In Russian” and Academy Award Nominee Diane Lane in “Gunshy.” He’s a gifted and passionate teacher with an amazing ability to teach acting to students of all ages. The students of this school are truly blessed by having the ability to take classes from such an established working film director.

Joey’s experience in casting hip and successful television shows and features will bring together some of today’s hottest talent and will certainly add to the success of this project.

Jeff is opening a 4 week workshop on Sunday, August 6th for children interested in working in film. This is a two hour workshop and enrollment is limited to first come basis. Call the school for enrollment information. There are two time slots available.

The Performer’s Academy is an Orange County based school that specializes in teaching of acting and performing programs to children, teens, and adults.
