Michigan resident and 10 year fitness expert Rob Poulos recently began an online petition and released a free consumer fitness guide called “Power Fitness Principles” to help Americans lose 10 million pounds by 2007. Poulos’s goal is to help 1 million Americans lose at least 10 pounds of unwanted fat each by the end of the year.
“About 31% of Americans are obese, and according to a recent article in USA Today, about 40%, or 68 million people, will be obese by 2010,” said Poulos. “That’s alarming. So I hatched a plan to help 1 million Americans lose at least 10 pounds of unwanted fat by 2007. This will give us a total national fat loss of 10 million pounds!”
According to Poulos, most people try to get into shape and lose weight using “quick fix” solutions. “Our culture is fixated on getting instant results,” he said. “And when it comes to losing weight, most people gravitate toward the latest fad diet or magic pill to solve their problems. This just creates confusion and frustration, as the short-term gains you may be lucky to achieve are rarely sustainable, and they often come with undesirable side-effects and require major lifestyle changes.”
Over the past 10 years, Poulos says, he’s experimented with every fitness and weight loss method he could get his hands on. “It took me years of trial and error to sift through all the junk that the fitness industry peddles to the American public and find out that most of it just doesn’t work. After I finally discovered what I believe to be the core fitness fundamentals, I decided that I wanted to help as many people as possible so that’s why I wrote my free consumer guide exposing everything I learned.”
Poulos’s 37-page “Power Fitness Principles” consumer guide is available only on his website at http://www.lose10millionpounds.com as a free download when you sign his petition.
