Chabad Initiative to Affect World Peace

Jewish organization reaches out to all people to affect world peace, through acts of goodness and kindness & a Prayer Service.

South Brunswick, NJ (PRWEB) July 22, 2006 -- With the continuing violence between Lebanon and Israel in the Middle East, the Chabad of North and South Brunswick is encouraging residents to join citizens around the world in increasing acts of goodness and kindness.

"People are generally good-natured and want to do something to make a difference," said Rabbi Mendy Carlebach, the Director of the Chabad Center.

Since recent terrorism and warfare in the Middle East have worldwide effects, especially in local communities, it is important to give people an avenue to be involved in programs that can make a difference.

"With each act of goodness and kindness we do, we increase the amount of spirituality in this world, thereby bringing more peace into this world," Carlebach said.

In addition, the Chabad Center will be holding a prayer service for a safe and secure Israel on Saturdays, July 22, July 29 and August 5 in the Grand Ballroom at Buckingham Place - 155 Raymond Road South Brunswick, NJ.
