If you’re going to buy an RV you need to use it; otherwise it is nothing more than a large and expensive lawn ornament. Where to go and what to do when you get there can be confusing until you have a few RV trips under your belt. There is a lot to learn about campgrounds and RV Parks, and the more you know, the better your camping experience will be. That’s what the new e-book RV Campground Basics is all about.

RV Education 101, an RV training video and information company, founded in 1999 by Mark and Dawn Polk reveal that the best kept secret for traveling in America is by a Recreation Vehicle (RV). Over 8 million households in America have already discovered this safe, cost effective, hassle-free way to see more of this beautiful country we live in. RV Education 101 announces the release of a new e-book titled “RV Campground Basics” written to introduce RVers to the wonderful world of getting the most enjoyment out of camping in an RV.

Mark Polk, the author of the popular RV Education 101 e-book series, stated “Traveling by RV makes even more sense when you take into account there are over 14,000 campgrounds, both public and private, for RVers to visit in the United States alone. And with today’s technology it’s easy to stay in touch with your family and conduct business while visiting these campgrounds across the country.”

Finding campgrounds, RV parks, and RV resorts can be confusing to the new RVer, not to mention learning about all of the different camping clubs to choose from. Joining the wrong camping club can be a bad experience and an expensive mistake. RVers need to determine how they plan to use their RV, explore all of their options, and join an RV club that is just right for them.

Some of the other topics Polk discusses in the e-book are: Should you make reservations before leaving on a trip? How do you register when you arrive at the campground? What kind of campsite should you request? Do you need a partial hook-up or a full hook-up? What does campground etiquette mean? Polk added, “The purpose of this e-book is to answer all of these questions and many more the RVer has concerning campgrounds.” Chapters in the e-book include: Where to go Camping, RV Camping Clubs, Trip Planning, Campgrounds 101, Campground Set Up, Campground Etiquette & Rules and RV Dump Stations.

Peggi McDonald, author of RV Living in the 21st Century stated, “Finally all the facts on this subject are in one publication."

Polk, an avid RVer himself, is also the author of the newly released book “The RV Book. Polk offers a free monthly RV newsletter and numerous free informational RV articles and tips on his two websites http://www.rveducation101.com and http://www.rvuniversity.com He said, “Buying an RV is a major investment and a new RVer can be overwhelmed when just starting out, this is where our RV Education 101 training videos, books and e-books fill such a valuable need.”
