Winners Selected and Announced for the My Art Space 'South of France' Competition

Winners for the first annual myartspace "South of France" atr retreat competition have been selected and announced. Two winners were selected by popular vote -- Sue Cook and Scott Talley. Two winners were selected by Jury decision -- Ilona Niemi and Micke Tong. Almost 700 artists competed from over 20 countries.

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 25, 2006 -- The first annual myartspace “South of France” competition concluded on July 14th, 2006. Winners of the competition were selected by two methods -- popular vote and jury vote. Two top-winners were selected from each. Catherine McCormack Skiba, Co-Founder and Creative Director commented, "We are very pleased at the results of the myartspace competition. We had an incredibly diverse body of work from almost 700 artists around the globe. We look forward to working with interesting and emerging artists to provide a contemporary forum for them to highlight their work."
