The online search engine giant Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO), second only to Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), reports over 2.1 million search queries for the word “real estate” using their network of online search tools, and an additional 3 million search queries for phrases pertaining to more specific searches. “The latest research is showing that upwards of 74 percent of real estate buyers use the Internet for home searches," reports Samuel Hirschberg, CEO of Gold Team Marketing Systems, Inc., a California online marketing firm.
