Family Center Introduces Atlanta's First Baby Spa

Play 2 Grow, a new facility that merges pediatric expertise with high technology amusement, announces the addition of an innovative concept, Baby Spa. Working with infants two months to one years old, the competent, credentialed staff educates parents and caregivers how to grow with their little ones using "tummy-time”, infant massage, and handling techniques that aid a baby's first year of mental and physical development. Research shows that this type of involvement with an infant improves developing sensory and motor systems, lowers levels of cortisol (the human "stress" hormone), relieves colic, stimulates food absorption and improves immune system functioning.

(PRWEB) July 23, 2006 -- Play 2 Grow, a new facility that merges pediatric expertise with high technology amusement, announces the addition of an innovative concept, Baby Spa.

“During my eight years of clinical practice as a pediatric physical therapist, I utilized interactive play experiences to help physically challenged infants and children reach their developmental potential,” says owner/director Marc Castelo. “This work experience helped me to create our unique Baby Spa curriculum.”

Castelo and co-owner racing icon and Indy Car team owner Michael Andretti’s Play 2 Grow facility provides “whole child” development through a variety of engaging activities. In additional to the Baby Spa, the center offers children ages 1 to 6 years a high technology, research based, SmartPlay program which uses innovative visual, sound, and lighting technologies that make for a memorable and unparalleled experience for both the child and caregiver. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, Play 2 Grow coaches facilitate physical, social, and cognitive-based skills during a variety of entertaining family play activities.
