(PRWEB) July 24, 2006 -- Following the success last year of its award-winning "Explode with Growth" Superforum featuring "Dragons’ Den" entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne, Ignite Scotland has relaunched its quarterly Business Builder Forum programme for Ayrshire business people.
Ignite Scotland is the brainchild and offshoot of Irvine-based chartered accountants Robert J Hart & Co, and has a growing reputation and track record in assisting business owners achieve enhanced profit performance.
The next Business Builder Forum starts at 1pm on 21 September 2006 at the Thistle Hotel, Irvine, and the topic is “Pricing For Maximum Profit – Discover Your Untapped Profit Potential”.
Ignite Scotland managing director and RJ Hart & Co business development manager Ian Macdonald said: “This is a great topic which has proven to be very popular at previous BBFs. It’s brilliant to see people’s faces light up when they discover how profit performance can be dramatically affected, simply by understanding the dynamics of pricing. Why does one restaurant charge £5.95 for lunch and another similar restaurant charge £8.95, or one manufacturing company charge £25.00 per man hour and another charge £30.00?”
The ticket price of £69 +VAT includes buffet lunch and refreshments.
The firm of Robert J Hart & Co Chartered Accountants, founded in 1976 and now employing a team of 30 people, is best-known for its initiatives in helping small and medium-sized Scottish businesses to improve their performance and increase profitability.
In April, Robert J Hart & Co was voted UK Accounting Firm of the Year by 200 of its fellow accountants throughout the country.
Ian Macdonald continued:“Owning or managing a business in today’s stressful and highly competitive market can be a lonely existence. Too few people to share the responsibility and even fewer to help solve the problems, exploit the opportunities or simply bounce around a few ideas with.
“The BBF is a business focus group for forward thinking, motivated business owners and senior managers. People who want to learn more, share ideas, make things happen and get results.
“And most importantly, people who are willing to get together for just half a day on a quarterly basis, to share ideas and insights, to help each other become even more successful.”
Ian Macdonald went on: "The quarterly Business Builder Forum is aimed at all business owners and management teams who really want to get more from their business and also wish to get more of their life back."
"Every business should be there, but the main criterion is that you have a genuine desire to enhance or improve your business performance and an interest in finding simple ways to do it.
"At each Business Builder Forum, a different topic will be covered and you will learn how to identify and implement simple, yet powerful strategies that will work for your business.
"And in addition to the main topic, we will be joined by an expert guest speaker who will give a presentation on other hot topics and current issues important to all businesses."
Ian concluded: “Together, we make a sort of business magic happen, and we have a lot of fun on the way. To succeed in business and outperform your competitors, you need only raise the bar a little at a time - a bit like an Olympic high jumper. It’s about consistently excelling in lots and lots of little ways that cumulatively build to create champions and world beaters.”
