Pastor Cuts through Tradition to Lead People to Establish True, Meaningful Relationships with God
God Made Clear: Faith and Reality vs. Belief and Superstition in 21st Century America by Rudy Leeman separates church traditions from innate human spirituality.
Sonora, CA (PRWEB) July 26, 2006 -- A pastor for more than 40 years, author Rudy Leeman’s new book, God Made Clear: Faith and Reality vs. Belief and Superstition in 21st Century America cuts across denominational lines and defines faith apart from traditions and superstitions. Not only relevant to Christians, Leeman’s book speaks to all who accept the idea of or search for the Creator God.
In this book, Leeman criticizes traditional religious groups and the selling of cheap religion, as he feels people do not connect with or are refreshed by this type of spiritual life. They often reject organized religion altogether. Unfortunately, many people have thereby “thrown away the baby with the bathwater” and feel too disillusioned to accept any form of spirituality. Yet, deep inside, they wish for a meaningful relationship with God. Others sit in church every week but find no relevance or correlation between their religion and their daily lives; others try to minister to the world, surrounded by the faulted doctrines of their church. They become demoralized because they cannot help those who need them the most.
In God Made Clear, Leeman examines the elements that must be addressed before immersing oneself in a spiritual quest. Straightforward and easy to understand, the book provides a fresh look at our generation’s varied personal quests to develop true, meaningful relationships with the Creator.
