This release is an explanation of a new science fiction series that has been launched recently. The purpose of this news release is to begin building an awareness between the author and the public.

M.D. Bishop writes a new science fiction story and series to inspire humanity to a more positive future in often uncertain times with the publication of Yuri Academy: Ascended’s Bane, in conjunction with Lulu (http://www.lulu.com), the world’s fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.

Yuri Academy: Ascended’s Bane is a work that seeks to unlock positive human potential without negating its flaws. It also seeks to dispel unnecessary dichotomies while respecting inherent fundamental distinctions and differences, e.g., science and mysticism.

M.D. Bishop wrote Yuri Academy: Ascended’s Bane to illuminate a public that seeks a sense of clarity in the early 21st century. Through such plot devices as space exploration, mysticism, and an attitude of universal interconnection and sacredness, Yuri Academy: Ascended’s Bane offers some insight and opinion to what humanity truly is and can be.

“This series isn’t about creating Utopia, for that’ll never exist,” said M.D. Bishop. “My work is a realistic yet creative attempt to offer what many others (e.g., Gandhi, Dr. King, Christ, etc.) have already said since the dawn of time: that humans can live in relative peace, love, and freedom. It further shows that not only can and do people believe in a divine power, but that a similar power can—and does—have faith in our capacity to ever-aspire to new and positive heights.”

M.D. Bishop is currently discerning Catholic priesthood. Currently employed by Columbus Children’s Hospital for over a year and a half, Bishop has written and co-created another series soon to be released on Lulu.

Founded in 2002, Lulu is the world’s fastest-growing print-on-demand marketplace for digital do-it-yourselfers. Please see http://www.lulu.com for more information.
