Nashville, TN (PRWEB) July 26, 2006
Indie country star Eileen Carey will be performing her latest hit “Hollywood” on the Sunset Strip at the world famous Whisky A Go-Go on Monday, July 31, with doors opening at 8:30pm. A webcast of Eileen’s performance, as well as the rest of the LA Girls with Guitars show will be available at StudioClub.com.
“Wow, singing about Hollywood at the Whisky A Go-Go on Sunset Strip is beyond my wildest dreams,” said Carey. “I’ll also be able to try out a couple of my new songs. It should be a fun evening for me and my fans!”
As long as there has been a Los Angeles rock scene, there has been the Whisky A Go-Go. An anchor on the Sunset Strip since it's opening in 1964, the Whisky A Go-Go has played host to rock 'n' roll's most important bands, from the Doors, Janis Joplin, and Led Zeppelin to today's up and coming new artists.
But this summer, Whisky A Go-Go has turned country with their Rockin’ Country Night each Monday. This special series features roots, western, country, country rock, alt-country, bluegrass and country folk music from Nashville to Austin and the Village back to their hometown LA scene.
Even better, fans missing the live performances can see the multimedia webcasts of each show online at StudioClub.com.
