Laura Siebold has spent ten years in the fashion industry with her most recent endeavor being the success of her two-and-a-half-year-old fashion company LiveStyle. Siebold is excited to introduce a new segment of LiveStyle that is launching nationally to industry partners. The promotional packages are built to attract businesses (industry related) that will benefit by bringing a fashion expert and media personality into their establishment. Laura will make in-store appearances and provide one on one style sessions to an invited list of guests or an advertised special event. The launch of this new campaign comes on the heels of a recent trip to Dallas. Laura spent four days working with clients who flew her to Texas, and it became clear that there is a viable market outside of the Chicagoland area.
Working with retailers is proving effective not only from a relationship point of view between the guest and the business, but it is also effective at generating revenue for the business. “When I work with a client, I use visuals. A full length mirror is a must. A kitten heel or whatever heel height you typically wear is also encouraged, as the line created can be fabulous or dreadful depending upon the shoe,” Laura says. “This is such a fantastic way to show guests how to use fabrics and different garments in a way that works best for them,” she concludes. To that end “When guests come into a store where I am styling, I style with the retailers clothing. Nine times out of ten the guest leaves ecstatic, educated and a little less heavy in the pocket book.”
LiveStyle wants to work with partners to create energy and excitement about shopping, and more importantly, shopping for one’s self. She has already had success with GAP-owned Forth and Towne, Bloomingdales and local boutiques. “I thrive when working with individual clients. Each client is different: their style, their budget their personality, not to mention their body type!” says Laura. “I am able to keep my fashion skills sharp working in the “field” with such a diverse group of people from Chicago to New Zealand (no kidding!).”
LiveStyle continues to be recognized by national media as it grows and develops.
Laura brings to the table not only her expertise, but media credentials that currently include a national television segment (fashion) through Tip Vision and a local radio fashion segment called “Stylin’ in the Suburbs” on NINE FM. She is a regular fashion contributor with WLS/ABC Chicago news since 2004, special contributor to CBS 2 Chicago news and was an original cast mate on Women Entertainment’s “Style Me with Rachel Hunter.” Her publishing credits include fashion contributor for Quintessential Barrington and the Northwest Community Times Newspaper. She has been featured in the “Best of” Chicago Magazine Issue, August 2005, Red Streak, the Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald and national magazine First for Women. And then there’s that Oprah thing ... she styled the Oprah’s Wildest Dreams Bus: New York and L.A. with Mariah Carey in 2005. There’s more, but this is just the jist.
