The Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts, located on Chicago's north side in the Lincoln Square neighborhood, has been providing martial arts education and training since 1980. In 2005, a second location was opened at the corner of Addison and Milwaukee. Over the past 26 years, the founder, Fred Degerberg, and his staff have built a school that is unlike any school anywhere and has caught the attention of the martial arts community worldwide. The Degerberg Academy is acclaimed for the expertise and professionalism of its teaching staff, the extended curriculum and the quality of the 13,000 sq. ft. fitness
and training center which boasts of a complete weight room and 2 boxing rings.

America's first super school, Degerberg Academy teaches an integrated program of over 200 fighting arts combined in their unique Degerberg Blend. The best of the best have trained there, including Bruce Lee's protege Dan Inosanto and Bill "Superfoot" Wallace. Chuck Norris worked closely with the Degerberg Academy on the Kick Drugs Out of America program.
