Web pioneer Aliza Sherman Risdahl, author of "The Everything Blogging Book" (Adams Media, July 2006) is on tour now to promote her book the blogging way -- making appearances on blogs around the world.

Anchorage, AK (PRWEB) July 29, 2006 -- Web pioneer Aliza Sherman, author of "The Everything Blogging Book" (Adams Media, July 2006), is on tour now to promote her book by making "appearances" on blogs around the world. Over the next month, text and audio interviews with Sherman or guest posts she has composed exclusively for each blog will be posted on blogs including DailyEats.com, LearnedOnWomen.com and TaraMetBlog.com.

"I'm living up north in Anchorage Alaska so doing a real world book tour was not really feasible," said Sherman, founder of Cybergrrl, Inc., the first woman-owned Internet company and the first women's Internet networking group Webgrrls International. "So I did what any avid blogger would do - tour the globe to promote my new book virtually on many of the blogs I've featured in the book."

Sherman's new book, "The Everything Blogging Book," is an introduction to blogging and bloggers in an easy-to-understand format. In addition to definitions, explanations and resources, Sherman quotes dozens of bloggers -- famous, semi-famous and obscure -- to demonstrate the diverse voices of bloggers worldwide.
