M2M Announces 2.5 Release of iSCADA Service

Flagship Service Product Receives Major Upgrade

Englewood, CO (PRWEB) July 31, 2006 -- M2M Data Corporation, an Internet-based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) leader, today unveiled the latest release of iSCADA®. This 2.5 release includes additional functionality and improvements to its iSCADA® Service, an end-to-end managed network for communicating data between remote assets, operators, and enterprise IT systems.

iSCADA® is a full-featured application for remote monitoring and control of energy assets. iSCADA® includes real-time data collection, alarming, trending, and control.

The new release includes 10-plus additions and improvements, including:

 
  • Optimized tree menu performance. (Faster loading especially for slower connections such as dial-up, CDMA, and GPRS.)
  • Optimized data loading resulting in 200% improvement in performance
  • Various GUI additions and changes to improve navigation and viewing of data

In support of iSCADA® 2.5 and a rapidly increasing customer base M2M has also improved and expanded ist server infrastructure, and significantly increased its Network Operating Center resources.

iSCADA® is a rapidly deployed, managed machine-to-machine communications platform used for monitoring and controlling remote, mobile, and fixed assets. iSCADA® uses Internet, wireless, satellite, smart field devices, and industrial M2M technologies to efficiently communicate operating data between people, devices, and systems. The service is provided on a turnkey basis including communication services with minimal or no capital expense, and is backed by a service level guarantee.
