Rigby, ID (PRWEB) July 31, 2006
The Prepared Pantry today announced the publication of a new baking book, How to Bake, designed for home bakers and is offering it free to home bakers. This 250-page, fully illustrated book covers the science of ingredients, how to use those ingredients, and extensive techniques for success. The book contains recipes to illustrate techniques. How to Bake is offered free in a downloadable format on the company’s website, http://www.PreparedPantry.com.
“The stores are full of cookbooks but we could find nothing for the home baker that really explains how baking works and teaches how to bake. This book does that. We don’t think there is a comparable book in print,” explained Dennis Weaver, author and co-founder of The Prepared Pantry. “We’re dedicated to successful home baking and wanted to offer the book for free.”
How to Bake examines eight categories of baking ingredients from flour to chocolate, describes how they work, and explains the techniques for using them in home baking. While the book is designed as a reference book, it is very readable. Even experienced bakers will learn more of the art and science of baking and become better bakers. The book was designed to accompany the company’s free baking lessons.
The Prepared Pantry maintains a free baking library with hundreds of baking articles and recipes along with free downloadable baking guides. Popular free baking guides include:
