Global Hotel Review the world largest multi-lingual hotel review website is launching Hotel Rank, a propriety algorithm developed by Global Hotel Review to protect against review manipulation and further enhance the quality and the accuracy of hotel reviews throughout theGlobal Hotel Review network of international hotel review websites.

Hotel Rank is a rating scale that is based on a complicated mathematical formula that takes multiple factors in consideration such as: number of reviews submitted per reviewed hotel, number of recommendations for each review, the date of submission of each review, the review trend for each hotel, the number of visitors for each hotel, in addition to a few other undisclosed factors.

“There has been a lot of talk in the media recently about the accuracy and the validity of user generated content; we at Global Hotel Review agree with the media concerns and we believe that most hotel review websites are suffering from a high degree of manipulation,” highlighted Mr. Nawar Alsaadi, GHR General Manager, and he added: “It is for that reason that Global Hotel Review has been working diligently for the last few months to develop and implement its Hotel Rank formula”.
