Bayonne, NJ (PRWEB) August 1, 2006 -- Muralo Paints has introduced a new “Color Fahions” program featuring 304 contemporary colors and sophisticated selection tools that include solid-color chips, large color sheets and tintable samples—so designers, contractors and consumers can easily visualize and test different color combinations.
Among the tools in Muralo’s Color Fashions system is a user-friendly rack with 2 ½” by 5 ¼” single-color chips, laid out so people can easily envision different color combinations. The large 7 1/2” x 11” color sheets and “color tester” quart-size cans—tintable to any color in four different bases—enable designers and homeowners to examine how colors appear in various lights and with different furniture and fabric.
“It’s never been easier to capture the right colors,” says Peter Seaborg,” Muralo’s vice president of sales. “Most consumers don’t want to sort through a confusing combination of 1,000 or 1,500 colors.” The 304 new colors are the ones most desired by designers and homeowners, according to Seaborg. The Bayonne, New Jersey-based Muralo, long-known for producing some of the finest quality paints, has always developed products to meet customer demand—such as Ultra Ceramic, the first flat scrubbable interior paint, introduced in 2002.
Muralo’s Color Fashions help personalize color combinations
The color revolution has evolved from an era of copying hot colors in magazines and home decorating TV shows to one of self-expression. Today’s affluent and middle-income consumers, with a keen sense of individual style, want to define their homes on their own terms. Muralo’s new Color Fashions system provides designers and the new style-savvy homeowners with the means to “capture their colors” and achieve that individualized look, says Seaborg. “By using large color sheets and tintable paint samples, people can visualize the look that reflects the character of their home and their own personality.” He calls Muralo’s new Color Fashions “the best of both worlds—sophisticated selection tools and the finest premium-quality paints, which will show the beautiful colors longer.”
As part of its Color Fashions program, Muralo will introduce an architect kit and contractor deck comprising 1,200 colors later this year. Plus, designers will be able to use two binders that contain all 304 large color sheets. To find out more, call 800.631.3440.
