Upcoming Feature Film "SHUT UP" Tells You How to do Away with Your Annoying Boss

This winter, the boss you hate gets it... Imagine that one boss that you just hate so much. Wouldn’t you like to see him get destroyed once and for all? Or at least have him give you some respect for a change?

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 2, 2006 -- This winter, the boss you hate gets it. Imagine that one boss that you just hate so much. Wouldn’t you like to see him get destroyed once and for all? Or at least give you some respect for a change?

According to ‘Shut Up!’ a new comedy, a movie by MyDesiRadio Productions (Coming Soon To A Theatre Near You) and directed by Raj Rahi (Rising Shores, Banana Brothers, Beyond Life), it definitely can happen.

The producer of ‘Shut Up!’, Abhishek Chauhan (Jo Bole So Nihal, Bollywood Calling, Bandhak), was actually afraid to produce ‘Shut Up!’ after he first read the script. “I didn’t want to create such a huge shock wave all over the world riling up frustrated employees that might join, Shut Up!’s main character and do the same to their Bosses,” says the well-known South Asian producer.

“In every place I worked I disliked at least one of my bosses,” added Shut Up!’s writer Amir Ragporker (The Gray Tomato). “’Shut Up!’ is the answer for all the frustrated workers out there.”

‘Shut Up!’ is a comedy about a nerd (Will Barrios) who tries to do good things but somehow always screwing things up. In the mix he has this ghastly boss (Chris Plumlee) who always picks on him, he falls in love with a bizarre girl (Catherine Shaw). “Everything you can possibly imagine goes wrong for this guy but in the end, it’s a character we all love, because we all have been in those embarrassing situations,” says director Raj Rahi.

A lot of thought was put into each and every shot of the film and since most of it was shot in Tennessee the country side has been captured beautifully by Director of Photography Roy Kurtulyan(Instant Dads, Yazi Tura, Ripley’s Believe It or Not). Another reason is the fact that the Director Raj Rahi, who has numerous Bollywood films to his credit creamed his own Bollywood -- colorful style into the shoots. The visuals in Shut Up! are being compared to this year’s Oscar winning movie Brokeback Mountain.

‘Shut Up!’ also has original comedy that has never been seen before in American cinema. The Jewish screenwriter, Amir Ragporker, brought his uniqueness from his home country, Israel and spread it along the movie. “It is hard to find comedy when everyday people die. But show must go on” says the writer about the war situation in Israel. “Sometimes the best way to get over things is just laugh,” he added.

One of the funniest scenes is when the main character mistakes his boss’ wife with one of his mistresses. The whole scene heats up as one of the real mistresses gets into the picture. Then it heats up even more when the boss calls the hero back into his office.

In keeping with the theory of the Melting Pot here in New York and the US, in "Shut Up" you will see a blend of all the different cultures, traditions and Humor coming together. You can get more information and keep yourself updated by visiting our Web Site at http://www.shutupthemovie.com.
