Analyst Firm Lists Amentra in Report for Open Source Software, SOA, and Web Services

According to Gartner, OSS consulting and implementation services include the use of OSS to design, construct and manage solutions; also included are advisory, consulting and systems integration (SI) assistance in the selection and deployment of various OSS components in SI engagements, governance services for OSS procurement, usage and contributions to the OSS community. Other consulting and implementation services include environmental assessments to detect and inventory OSS components, and to implement software compliance management solutions; in addition, there are software testing and validation services, as well as services to develop and manage OSS deployments throughout the software life cycle.

Regarding service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web services, the analyst firm defines the implementation expertise around business process analysis, modeling, renovation, IT strategy, architecture, governance and application development and integration.
